    Artist Statement

Making work on Kaua’i since 2004 with few voyages elsewhere  except to neighbor islands has provided endless inspiration in both light and life to present in drawings and paintings.

New and different than even moments ago, ever evolving life and weather in the sea, on the land, the people, animals and botanicals are intertwined to offer the events of the days and nights on island as subjects.
A unique harmony is instilled both calming and
sharpening our senses and reaction to Nature always in charge.
This flux and flow of living elements is what I strive to achieve in making work.
I will remain evermore on Kaua’i ever humbled by the past, present and future story yet to tell.
